A Student Asked How I Differ from Other Seven Regulators Teachers

A student asked me: how are you different from other teachers of Seven Regulators & Four Shadows?

Seven Regulators has an old problem called the co-chart problem: when two people are born a day apart, the slow planets — Jupiter, Saturn — have barely moved; Jupiter takes a year to cross a single mansion. The fast-moving Moon changes position daily, but as long as it hasn't left the same lunar mansion, the two charts are nearly indistinguishable. A day apart is a different life, yet the charts look the same. How do you read that?

This problem is less visible in Western astrology. Western astrology argues by aspect, with orbs: a single degree can break a configuration, so the charts separate on their own. Seven Regulators doesn't take the aspect route — its core is the energetic relationship between stars, a logic of its own. But most lineages read it only through Five-Element generation and control: same chart, same reading. Not out of laziness — they simply lack the tool that makes this logic run.

My introductory course lays out the basic structure; the intermediate course begins to tackle this: using the Stellar Regent (命元星) to fix each chart's own core, then the Four-Pillar void (四柱空亡) as a supporting method to tell apart people who share a chart.

The Stellar Regent is not a term I invented — it is an inherited method. Of the tens of thousands of cases in hand, I have verified close to a thousand, one chart at a time.

Same chart face, different Stellar Regent, different conclusion. Fail to clear the co-chart problem, and what you are really reading is "people born around those days," not this person.
