Monthly Advancement: What Happens in Each Month

Anyone who has had their chart read has heard of Monthly Advancement — what happens to you in any given month.

A few weeks ago a client came to see me. They had had their natal chart read before, and the first thing they said was: "You told me I would meet someone in February this year, and I did."

Right up to the end of January there had been no sign of it, and they had half believed me at best. Then February arrived, and they met the person they are with now.

This time they came for an Annual Forecast. They are graduating this year and wanted to know which way to go next. My annual readings run down to the month, so which month a thing falls in comes with it.

I had told them before that sales work does not suit them. But given their degree, staying in the south to be near their partner leaves almost nothing but sales.

So I looked at the chart again. The natal chart is indeed unsuited to it — but from now until the age of thirty-four the work is still doable, because there is strength to borrow from the advancement layer. It only requires avoiding a few specific situations.

Pharmaceutical sales are wrong for them; medical devices suit them better. Anything money-shaped — lending products aimed at doctors, for instance — suits them better still.

That is what an adjustment is.

By the time a client reaches me they are usually already stuck on something, have already walked part of a road, and have a profession of their own in hand. My job is to adjust along the grain of that profession and that experience — not to tell them flatly: "This is the one thing you have to do."

Anyone who has had a natal reading with me can come back each year for an Annual Forecast, so you know what each month holds and have time to prepare for it.
