Journeys Palace
遷移宮
The palace of journeys in three senses — physical travel abroad, higher learning, and spiritual or abstract quests; the 9th-house counterpart.
The Journeys Palace (遷移宮) is deliberately plural, carrying three orders of journey: the physical (travel, going abroad, trade, relocation), the intellectual (higher education, research, law), and the spiritual or abstract (metaphysics, religion, and the pursuit of far, idealized goals).
It sits at the 未 hour and is associated with roads, faith, and movement. Its classical logic: to hold to a single road to its end requires strong trust and conviction — the ancients could scarcely set out on a long journey without deep identification with the destination. So the palace governs higher learning, journeys of spirit and culture, and fortune away from home.
It stands opposite the Communication Palace: long, committed, meaning-laden journeys (9th) against short, casual, everyday movement and exchange (3rd). Travel is retained as one facet of this palace.
