Twenty-Eight Mansions

The Specialized Amplification of the Seven Regulators

The Twenty-Eight Mansions are not twenty-eight loose personality types — they are the specialized amplification of the Seven Regulators (the seven stars): each mansion focuses and magnifies one facet of its ruling star through the body-part symbol it maps onto (a dragon's horn, a tiger's claw, a bird's wing…). The four mansions sharing a ruling star stay distinct because each amplifies a different vector.
