Ascending Lunar Node

計都

Shadow Regent of Saturn — the Moon's ascending node; note: names are transposed relative to Vedic astrology.

The Ascending Lunar Node (計都) is the Shadow Regent of Saturn in Eastern Classical Astrology — the point where the Moon's orbit crosses the ecliptic plane in an ascending direction.

As a Shadow Regent of Saturn, its energy pattern reflects Saturn's unfamiliar, anxiety-producing dimension: an excessive accumulation of fine-grained calculations, hypervigilance, and the fear that comes from encountering the genuinely unknown. Where Saturn governs structure and discipline, the Ascending Lunar Node governs the destabilizing encounter with what lies outside one's known world.

It is a day star in Eastern Classical Astrology.
