Formless (No Archetype)

The absence of a fixed reading-angle — when no Imprinting Star forms, the person carries only their Stellar Regent's own nature, with no single habitual archetype.
Formless (無格) is the state in which no Archetype forms. Where each of the five archetypes arises from the Imprinting Star's Five-Phase relationship to the Stellar Regent, Formless is what remains when there is no Imprinting Star to establish that relationship at all.
This occurs when the palaces that would carry the Imprinting Star hold no star, or only the luminaries (the Sun and Moon, which carry no Five-Phase) — so no formative relationship can be computed. It is not missing data: structurally, no pattern forms.
Such a person is read not through one fixed angle, but through the Stellar Regent's own nature alone — the bare disposition of their governing star. Without a single habitual archetype, they hold no one strong, fixed preference; the character is more fluid and situational, taking its colour directly from the Regent rather than from a settled way of meeting the world.
