Solar Stellar Regent

The Solar Stellar Regent (命度主) is the day-primary form of the Stellar Regent.

Derivation: Take the Sun's degree within its branch (sign), then carry that degree across to the Life Palace. The point in the Life Palace that shares the Sun's exact degree — a partile correspondence — falls within one of the 28 Lunar Mansions, and the planet ruling that mansion is the Solar Stellar Regent.

Together with the Lunar Stellar Regent (身度主), it forms the pair from which the chart's governing Stellar Regent (命元星) is selected: by day the Solar Stellar Regent takes precedence.

Why "Stellar": like every member of this family, it is read through the 28 Lunar Mansions — the fixed-star matrix — rather than the zodiac alone.
